Alphabet Challenge

Still need to read some more books.

I need E, and will read The Edge by Dick Francis.  Love the books I've read by him. Looking forward to reading this one.
For O, I plan to read Old Bones by Aaron Elkins.

For Q, I plan to read The Queen's Accomplice.  New author to me. Or maybe Quiet Anchorage by Ed Lynskey.  I have both of them.
and for R, I will be reading Refusal by Felix Francis.  He is Dick Francis's son, hope his writing is as good.
W looks like I will read The Wall by Mary Roberts Rinehart.  I've had this for a while and have been meaning to read it!
Y is going to be You Might as Well Die, by J.J. Murphy.  Another one I've had for a while, and am looking forward to reading.
and Z will probably be The Zen Man by Colleen Collins. 

These are all subject to change, if I come across a  book I like better!

Also, I plan to read an additional 4 books--for K, L U and V if I have time.  These letters have books I read earlier this year before I found the challenge.

2017 Alphabet Soup Challenge

Just found this one, and it sounds interesting! The 2017 Alphabet Soup Reading Challenge hosted by Escape with Dollycas into a Good Book, only requires you to read 26 books during the year, each book starting with a different letter of the alphabet (with the exception of Q, X, and Z, which can start a word anywhere in the title.

I don't know if you are allowed to use books read this year, but before I signed up.  I listed them in my list, but as I read throughout if I read books that qualify for letters I've already read before I signed up, I will update them.

Mt. TBR Challenge 2017

Last year I seemed to have lost my mojo for writing, and didn't add much to my blog.  I decided to get back into it earlier this year.  One of the things I did enjoy while doing my blog was participating in challenges, so I checked today to see if I could find any.

I found one of my favorites (and one I really need!), the Mt. TBR Challenge.  I decided to join it, and will be working on the Mt. Vancouver Challenge Level (read 36 books from your TBR pile).  I've already read a few in the first few months of the year, so I've got a good start.
